Founders Rob Plug and Danny de Boer decided in 1999 to leave their then employer Leader In Propeller Systems (LIPS) NV, the Netherlands, and started their own company in the Amsterdam workshop. Some 12 years later, Danny’s son Rico de Boer also came on board. Today, a team of skilled, experienced and enthusiastic professionals is working for Plug en de Boer, now a household name worldwide.
